Actually, there are so many factors that hinders a woman to conceive, you may be one of them yet you still don’t know it. Stress is the most common reasons why a woman is hard to conceive. On the other hand there are ways to boost fertility without taking expensive fertility medications.
Here are the few things a couple should do to boost fertility:
Watch Your Diet
We are all aware that eating unhealthy food will not only harm our body but it also causes infertility. Free radicals are found in the foods that we eat and it kills the antioxidant that helps to protect the egg and sperm. Although there are foods which help boost fertility, there are also foods which need to be avoided. I was actually told by someone that the food you eat today affects the health of your eggs and sperm 90 days from now. So you can just imagine how nutrition plays a big role of preparing your body to get pregnant. You and your partner should be practicing eating foods rich in vitamin C and E and other antioxidants. Try to get enough zinc too. Inadequate amount of zinc can make sperm form into a group which causes big trouble to fertilization of the egg. So start to eat healthy.
Try to do some exercise but it should not be too much. Some women may already be pregnant but they are not aware and too much exercise causes miscarriage. Also, women who do intense work out stops ovulating or they ovulate less frequently causes them hard to conceive.

There are yoga poses which helps to improve fertility. Some of those I actually listed below:
- Butterfly Pose. Butterfly pose is actually one of my favorite pose ever since I started doing yoga. Aside from the pose easy to follow, it’s also very relaxing. This pose requires you to put your feet together and then pull them in as close to your body keeping your back straight then put your hands on your feet and breathe deeply.
- Lotus Pose. Lotus pose is like butterfly pose, this pose requires you to sit down while your legs are crossed and back should be straight. Rest the back of your hands on the knees, you can either touch the forefingers to your thumbs forming a circle if you are flexible enough. Lotus pose strengthens the areas of your pelvic region which increases fertility.
- Legs On The Wall Pose. This pose requires a round bolster but if you don’t have, a folded blanket will do. In this pose all you have to do is lay on your side parallel to the wall with your buttocks against the wall. Slowly breathe in and out then turn your hips and lift your legs until they are against the wall. Your legs should be 90 degrees angle to the hips with your buttocks up against the wall. This helps sperm to go deeper into the female reproductive organs.
- Child’s Pose. Child’s Pose rejuvenates the body, it also helps to relax and boost your chances of pregnancy. In this pose you need to get down with both hands and knees and then lean forward stretching your arms and hands above the head against the floor. You can move your buttocks to help loosen the muscles in the lower back. Place your forehead on the floor but if you can’t do it, you can also put your arms back down and place your forehead against them.
Manage your Stress

Some women claims that no matter what they do, follow all the experts recommendations, eat healthy food, exercise frequently, avoid smoking and alcohol to get pregnant but for what ever reason they just couldn’t get pregnant. They even get more stressed out that after many years of waiting and trying to conceive, it just couldn’t happen. Some tips from the experts how to manage stress is to breathe easily, visualize calm, make some time for a mini self massage, try to smile more often or even laugh out loud will be better.
We cannot control things that happen around us what you can control is yourself thinking about how you handle your emotions.
